EDC16C34 0281012528 1037374477 ORI: the unmodified full BDM backup of a Bosch EDC16C34 fitted to the Peugeot 206 1.4 HDi (PSA 9659341880) – external flash 2 MB + EEPROM 95160 (2 / 4 / 8 KB formats, multi-tool) read on the bench.
What you get (2 ZIPs, 1.4 MB in total)
✔ EDC16C34 0281012528 1037374477 ORI full BDM backup – external flash 2 MB + EEPROM 95160 (2 / 4 / 8 KB formats, multi-tool), read from the same ECU
✔ INFOS.html datasheet in 12 languages
✔ Unmodified original read – no tuning, no immobilizer change, no checksum work
Complete bench read of the Bosch EDC16C34 used in the Peugeot 206 1.4 HDi: external flash 2 MB + EEPROM 95160 (2 / 4 / 8 KB formats, multi-tool) from one and the same ECU, delivered as 2 ZIPs with an INFOS.html datasheet.
This is what tuners call a full BDM or full backup – not the flash alone. Moreover, the ZIP is delivered instantly once the order is paid.
Two independent reads of the same software, from two different ECUs. Each read is complete and unmodified. Read #1 is the one to write; keep the other to compare or to double-check your own read – the differences are listed under Archive contents.
Not sure it is your file? For example, send us a photo of the ECU label or a screenshot of your tool’s identification screen before ordering – we confirm the match.

Hardware 0281012528 was fitted with 4 software states in our catalogue, so the engine badge is not enough: compare HW 0281012528 and PSA 9659341880 on the label, then the software number in your tool.
If your 206 shows HW 0281012528 but SW 1037386154 (PSA 9664620780), you need this other file instead.

Read #2 compared with read #1: 9 bytes differ in the flash (4 areas: 0x007FC4–0x007FC6, 0x007FC9–0x007FCB, 0x03FA86, …); 311 bytes differ in the EEPROM (118 areas: 0x000001–0x000003, 0x00000D–0x00000E, 0x000018–0x000019, …).
One EEPROM, three file formats (2 KB / 4 KB / 8 KB) so that every tool finds the size it expects – 2 KB is the chip itself, the content is identical.
Because flash and EEPROM come from one ECU, writing both restores a coherent unit (donor immobiliser data included). The MPC internal flash is not part of the archive: it is not needed to restore, clone or compare an EDC16C34 with the usual tools.

Notes on this file
We read two EDC16C34 ECUs running software 1037374477 for this page. Hardware 0281012528 is known with 4 software versions in our catalogue; this page is 1037374477. Engine: Peugeot 206 1.4 HDi (68 hp, engine code 8HZ, 2006-2007).
Works with all common tools – KTAG, KESS3, Flex, Autotuner, bFlash, PCMflash, BDM100 and similar tools. However, in rare cases an alignment with a hex editor or WinOLS may be needed before writing. For professional use – workshops and ECU technicians.
How to identify your ECU
On the label
On the Bosch label of the EDC16C34 you will read 0 281 012 528 (hardware) and 96 593 418 80 (PSA), often with a Bosch sticker number beginning 1039S. The sticker number is a production reference, not the software: only a tool read, or the INFOS.html in this archive, gives the 1037… numbers.

What KESS / KTAG show
| Field | What the tool shows |
|---|---|
| HW | often empty – use the label |
| SW | 1037374477 |
| SW upg. (SW màj., soft up, UpgSW) | empty, or 1037374477 again |
Your tool should show 1037374477 as SW and either nothing or 1037374477 again as SW upg. (SW màj. / soft up / UpgSW). A different number on that second line means an updated ECU: look for the file with that upgrade number.

Questions about this file
Is EDC16C34 0281012528 1037374477 ORI a full BDM backup or only the flash?
Full backup: the 2 MB external flash and the 95160 EEPROM were read together from the same ECU (Peugeot 206 1.4 HDi application) – enough to restore a bricked unit, clone it or start a stage 1 on 1037374477.
My tool shows SW 1037374477 but the HW field is empty. Right file?
Yes, KESS and KTAG often leave HW blank. Check 0 281 012 528 and 96 593 418 80 on the label; if the upgrade line is empty or repeats 1037374477, this is your file.
Will this file work on a Peugeot 307 1.4 HDi?
Only if the 307 label reads HW 0281012528 / PSA 9659341880 and the tool shows 1037374477. It is reported with this software but we did not read it from a 307 ourselves.
Same hardware 0281012528 but my tool shows SW 1037386154?
Then you need the other file for this hardware: SW 1037386154 with PSA 9664620780, sold on its own page. 0281012528 alone is not enough to choose.
Why are there 2 downloads for one software?
We read 2 ECUs running 1037374477. Write read #1; the other differ by VIN, immobiliser and adaptation data in the EEPROM, useful to compare with your own read.
Does the EEPROM contain the immobiliser of the donor 206?
Yes, as read. This is the original state of ECU 0281012528, not a virgin file: for another car, transfer your own immobiliser data or use a virgin EEPROM.
